THE PROTEST
As part of the Punk Diplomacy collection, Viktra Studio organised a public protest in Barcelona, walking thirty looks through Plaça Catalunya and Passeig de Gràcia, the city’s most symbolic axis of consumption. This act was conceived as a peaceful yet uncompromising statement against the accelerating cycle of overproduction, disposability, and unconscious consumption that defines the contemporary fashion industry.
The procession served as a call for awareness: to reconsider how clothing is consumed, to question where materials originate, and to reflect on the environmental and social impact embedded in everyday garments. By occupying public space, the collection moved beyond the runway and into lived reality, transforming fashion into an act of activism.
This protest reflects one of Viktra Studio’s core values: a commitment to responsibility, intention, and longevity in design. Punk Diplomacy rejects the normalisation of fast fashion’s wasteful rhythm and instead advocates for a shift in mindset—toward informed choices, ethical creation, and a more conscious relationship with clothing.
It was not merely a presentation of garments, but a manifestation of dissent. A call for change. A demand for accountability. And an invitation to imagine a different future for fashion.
